Transform your Power into the Power of the Future!

University is a place not only to acquire specialized knowledge but also to discover one’s potential and develop the ability to shape one’s future. Tokai Gakuen University upholds the educational philosophy of “Tomoiki” (coexistence), which teaches that we live in harmony with all that surrounds us, and that we should be grateful for the sustenance that provides, while living our lives to the fullest. The university has created an environment where everyone can learn and grow together, while focusing on each individual’s challenges.

Attentive guidance through small-class instruction begins from the moment of enrollment. The curriculum, which integrates theory with practice, fosters not only specialized knowledge but also the critical thinking, judgment, and communication skills demanded by society. There are many opportunities for learning in collaboration with the local community and businesses, allowing students to apply the knowledge gained in the classroom to real-world situations while also developing the ability to identify and solve problems independently.

The interactions with fellow students, faculty, and staff during your university life, along with the successes and failures experienced through challenges, become invaluable assets. Especially in an era of rapid change, trusting your own interests and adopting a proactive attitude toward continuous learning will pave the way for your future. Our university will warmly and strongly support you in your journey toward your dreams.

Our graduates, when reflecting on their four years at the university, without exception, describe it as a “caring university” where faculty members are approachable and provide unwavering support. We believe this is one of the defining characteristics and strengths of our mid-sized institution.

We will continue to do our utmost to ensure that Tokai Gakuen University remains a place where you can: Transform your Power into the Power of the Future!

President, Tokai Gakuen University
Hisashi Ito
